Abstract

The article presents an analysis of five major television stations: Polsat, TVN,
Republika, TVP1, and Trwam. The analysis is based on the main news broadcasts from
December 13, 2024, and focuses on their potential political bias. The study examines and
characterizes the content of the first ten minutes of each broadcast. December 13 holds
special significance for Poles, as it marks the anniversary of the imposition of martial
law in Poland in 1981. For this reason, particular attention was also paid to which station
acknowledged this important anniversary within the first ten minutes of their broadcast.
